After spending the day at my mum's again, we arrived back to Beverley at about 6pm. Facing an empty fridge, we made a detour to Stuart's of Driffield's fish and chip shop on Norwood. Kasper, full of cold, fell asleep in the car and went straight to bed so it was just James and me for tea. It's a good chippy, not my favourite, (which is
Sullivans), but excellent in its own right.
Best of all, we still had some
coke leftover from FA Cup night - it tastes so much better out of these old fashioned bottles and really looks the part on the table too. James had a bottle of not so old fashioned
Budweiser.
